Ingrédients

  • 2 chicken breasts

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 2 ripe avocados, sliced

  • 1 tomato, diced

  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

  • 4 large wheat tortillas (or corn tortillas)

  • 100 g lettuce or arugula

  • 4 tablespoons sauce of your choice (mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, or fresh cream sauce with herbs)

  • 50 g grated cheese (cheddar, emmental or feta)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preparing the chicken : Season chicken breasts with paprika, salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the heat and leave to cool for a few minutes, then cut into thin strips.
  • Vegetable preparation : Slice the avocados, dice the tomato and chop the red onion. Prepare the lettuce (or arugula) leaves if you haven’t already done so.
  • Wrap assembly : Place a tortilla flat on a plate. Spread a spoonful of sauce over the center of the tortilla. Then add a portion of lettuce, sliced chicken, a few slices of avocado, diced tomato and sliced onion. Sprinkle with grated cheese for a gourmet touch.
  • Roll the wraps: Fold in the edges of the tortilla to enclose the filling, then roll up tightly. If necessary, hold the wrap closed with a toothpick.
